Achieve your health and fitness goals with this app

Step Master is a free health and fitness app that allows users to count their daily steps and keep track of how many calories they’ve burned throughout the day. This is a convenient pedometer for people who want to live a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

Step Master offers a simple user interface that makes it easy to operate the app. It claims to have reports and statistics containing daily, weekly, and monthly reports about users’ steps — all of which are not found within the app. It is filled, however, with coin-earning mini games.

Pedometer app filled with games

Step Master, at its core, is supposed to be a pedometer app that lets users monitor how many steps they’ve taken and calories they’ve burned during a single day. However, it is filled with various mini games for users to earn in-game currency, including Wobble Man, Animal Supermarket, Plants vs Zombies, and many more. It even has sections for the Top Games and Game Center.

Daily tasks are available in this app, allowing you to earn tickets for different games, such as Scratch Card, Lucky Wheel, Play Games, and Lucky Gift. In addition, it has routine tasks for collecting gold coins and banknotes and accumulated check-ins, letting you earn more in-game money that the app claims you can cash out through various apps, like PayPal, DANA, OVO, PagBank, and more.

If you aim for a certain number of steps, you can edit the goal settings for that day. Keep in mind that the higher the goal, the more generous the reward. However, there is a case reported that once you reach a certain in-game money amount, the cash-out button gets disabled, which therefore will not let you get all of it.

More of a game center app

Step Master is a phony pedometer app that leans more toward being a game center. While it monitors the number of steps and calories burned, the app is filled with random games that allow you to earn cash-convertible in-game currency. However, a user reported that the app disables the cash-out button once the user reaches a certain amount. Step Counter : Pedometer is an app that stays true to its nature.

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
